HUPTI’s goal is to continue to have an impact on the fight against cancer with this fun-filled, elegant event, designed to help our community fight cancer, the second leading cause of disease-related death among Americans. The Gala of Hope will aid in HUPTI’s efforts to assist with patient services and cancer research.
Dr. William H. “Bill” Cosby, Jr., one of the most notable and celebrated entertainers of our time, will serve as the master of ceremonies.
Entertainment will be provided by R&B group, “The Whispers,” known for hits like, “And The Beat Goes On,” “Rock Steady” and “Just Gets Better With Time.”
The Gala will feature themed food stations, a unique silent auction, dancing and entertainment. Tickets are $250 for individuals or $450 for couples. Tables of ten and sponsorships are also available.

At full operation, HUPTI is expected to treat approximately 2,000 patients per year with prostate, breast, brain, lung, head and neck, pediatric and other cancers. The actual treatment of protons lasts a mere minute. Patients are treated five days a week, from five to ten weeks.
